A Picture Is a Poem Without Words

I have met someone at work who has a LOT of the connections I need for my To Do List. I'm absolutely ecstatic! Next week will involve Fried Green Tomatoes and perhaps a cow or two. We'll see :)

Dreams. Are they psychic awareness? Sometimes I believe so. Everytime I have a question, my dreams have the answer. I need to stop questioning myself.

Kim Kardashian's wedding pictures came out in People today. She was on the cover. Without her groom. My entire office found this as hilarious.

What're You Drinkin?

I'm loving this Pumpkin Iced Coffee thing. Yes, it's still August! I have the hookups.. ;)

But I must say, us northeasters are brainwashed to believe that this is actually GOOD coffee! I really do like the taste.. but the iced coffee is nothing without a flavor shot or two. I don't think Dunkins' quality is as great as we're made to believe. And I think we all know this, too, but they're everywhere we turn -so we just keep buying!

Overall, though, this is way washed out. Completely watered down. The hot coffee is a bit better, but if I buy Iced, I can't go without a flavor.

I must say, there is nothing better than an Iced Latte from a real coffee house.

The Melting Pot

#130

Utterly delicious! And the best three hours that I ever spent on dinner. Four courses. Wisconsin cheese, take-home salad, over done meat due to the level of my intoxication, & already melted-in-your-mouth chocolate. It was everything I knew it would be.... & better.

Thanks, Dave!

... & on to the next! I'm beginning #146 today!

First word: yerk (v.)

This is going to be a long year.

And The Days Go By*

Since I made my 150 Things To Do Before I Die, I've conducted a fair amount of research on how I should go about my list. Everyone always says they will do *this* and *that*- "someday". Well I don't believe in "someday". I believe in ASAP... and now. You can't add to two without one, so I gotta figure out how to achieve these things!

#3 - Toning up

This has been very hard since I realized I still look.... well, not chunky... but not great. Despite this, the effort I have put out has been very rewarding. I'm starting to see a difference in myself. And I also feel better. But I think I might need to push myself a little harder. All in all, things are moving along. Progress is still progress.

#145 & #109

I would like to start saving the $3 a day within a month or so. I would like to find a better salary, though, before I begin this. I can barely make ends meet as it is. I would like to be a bit more comfortable with my bank before I start throwing this into my savings. This is definitely on my Up & Coming Attractions.... especially if I complete #123 (also in the works!)

#46

This is a doozy. Theres no way in hell I would stay in Times Square for New Year's Eve without having a place to stay. Hotel rooms in this vicinity book up about a year in advance for New Years Eve, and its like $400-500/night. I don't want to be there for just one night... that would be a little stressful... and a waste... So I'm thinking that in order for this to take place, I will need about $2000-$3000. I don't want to make any price cuts. When I do it, I'm going to do it right. I'm going to check back in in January of 2012 and see how things look for December of 2013.

#122

I'm very excited about this one! I did some research and found that in order to get in, you have to watch out for casting calls on the official website as well as their twitter and facebook page. During filming, they put out adds that state when they will need prospective dinner guests. Waiting patiently till then*

Dream As If You'll Live Forever, Live As If You'll Die Today

Tomorrow, my *favorite person* in the entire worldddddd has the day off with me! We had a bunch of things planned for the outdoors... but I realized that the weather will NOT be absolutely amazing, as planned.

I started to look up some new activities, and I found a bunch of awesome things... but I also stumbled upon an interesting concept: "X of Things To Do Before I Die".

"Climb a mountain, skydive, have your portrait painted, be the member of an audience in a TV show, skinny dipping in Southern France...."

I think we've all seen these lists. I hope I speak for most of you when I say that many of us have even made our own!

But I was twelve. And I was a very different person back then. My interests, aspirations, dreams, and personality have changed a great deal since then. Hell, I couldn't even tell you where my list even IS!

But you know what, GOOD!

Lets start from scratch!

I took one of the quizzes that decided how well your life was going. This wasn't measured by everyday accomplishments, but rather, how much you've done on lists such as these.

"Plant a tree, swim with the dolphins, eat jellied eels from a stall in London..."

And you know what? My rating SUCKED! They told me I better *get out* and *get going* And I realized the quiz was right! I'm wasting precious time. And for all I know, I could die tomorrow and this blog would just STOP.

I need to get on with life. I'm going to make a whole new list. I'm going to assemble it neatly and make it official. And I'm going to post it to this site.

As soon as I finish brainstorming my main one hundred or so, I'm going to immediately begin by making the necessary plans to chip my heart away. That's right! Chip, chip, chip away! And I would like to set a specific goal for myself, or rather, a minimum. On average, I must experience X amount of goals within X amount of time. I will write more on this here when I establish my main list and brainstorm the rules....

I can't believe one of those stupid, immature quizzes actually caused some inspiration in my life.

Till we meet again, dear readers....*
